Recently, a human and cat team decided to test out the hypothesis that the music in a certain soap opera was so bad, that a cat could do a better job. We think that the cat did a pretty good job indeed.

Meet Opal, a cat from Manitoba whose insistent meowing woke her human companion and saved them both from death by fire. Lisa Kosior was sleeping when Opal leapt on her bed and started insisting that she wake up. Kosior eventually woke up after she suspected Opal was struggling with a hairball, but she soon realized that her house was on fire.
